At each stage of the life of the school God has spoken to us.
One of our first projects was to purchase a site for the school. We were led to Joshua 1: 1-9 where God tells Joshua to go and possess the land. To this he has to step out into the Jordan River and into the unknown. We were guided by this and completed the purchase of the land. However we were not able to gain Resource Consent to build the school after an initial consent was overturned in the Environment Court. Through this experience we understood that God wanted us to have a larger vision. We sought God again and a pupil's parent was given Genesis 26: 17-22 -especially verse 22. God had a place for us! Shortly after this we found the site in Nelson Rd. We have completed the purchase and have resource consent for a school of up to 200.
We now need to:
Develop the site including roading, services, and grounds.
Plan and build 3 classrooms, and administration area.
This is a large and daunting task, but with Gods direction and leading we know that it will happen.
Again we sought God and he led us to a number of different words.
The Loaves and Fishes miracle. God can make use of a tiny amount of resources and have abundant left over.
The book of Nehemiah, who rebuilt Jerusalem's wall against opposition, but with great thought and prayer.

Joshua 1:1-9
After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses' aide: "Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them--to the Israelites. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates--all the Hittite country--to the Great Sea on the west. No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." © NIV
Genesis 26:17-22
So Isaac moved away from there and encamped in the Valley of Gerar and settled there.
Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father Abraham, which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham died, and he gave them the same names his father had given them.
Isaac's servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there.
But the herdsmen of Gerar quarrelled with Isaac's herdsmen and said, "The water is ours!" So he named the well Esek, because they disputed with him.
Then they dug another well, but they quarrelled over that one also; so he named it Sitnah.
He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarrelled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land." © NIV
Loaves and Fishes
John 6:1-14
Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the miraculous signs he had performed on the sick. Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples. The Jewish Passover Feast was near. When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?" He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do. Philip answered him, "Eight months' wages would not buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!" Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, spoke up, "Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?" Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." There was plenty of grass in that place, and the men sat down, about five thousand of them. Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted." So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten. After the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus did, they began to say, "Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world." ©NIV
