Sonrise Christian School provides Christ centred education for the children of Gisborne in purpose built facilities.

Sonrise Christian School aims to assist parents to prepare and guide their primary, intermediate and junior high school aged child towards maturity. The four main areas of development are spiritual, social, academic and physical.

Students are encouraged to know, love, serve, and trust the Lord Jesus Christ, to commit their lives to Him, and to love others as Christ loves us.

Because God has made us all unique, with individual skills and talents, each child is expected and encouraged to develop to their own personal potential.
